NORDIC WALKING JESOLO
A healthy sport in the fresh air suitable for all? Nordic walking, or “walking with poles”, is a relatively new sport in Italy, but one which is becoming increasingly popular, due to the fact that it is fun, inexpensive and healthy.
There are many benefits to Nordic walking: it’s good for the heart and circulation, it strengthens arms and shoulders, improves back posture, and tones glutes and abs. It’s an excellent way to keep fit even on holiday. In Jesolo you can do it in any season and on a variety of different terrain, whether you prefer walking on sand, soil, grass or asphalt paths.
Nature lovers can walk on the seashore for a dose of iodine; or in the green pine forests, in the cool shade of poplars and pines, immersed in the silence of the nearby countryside; or follow the paths of the Piave and Sile rivers and the north Venice lagoon, enjoying a mix of nature and history.
For a more accessible option, the asphalt pathways of Jesolo itself are an excellent solution for getting about freely with all the necessary amenities on hand. Our reception is available to provide you with information and recommendations on which paths to follow.
